Towards the left is the junction with Penda's Way which runs from the bottom edge. The Cock Beck public house is situated just below this junction. This pub is still running today. Stanks Drive begins in the centre of the left edge runs to the right then curves up towards the top edge.

York Road winds its way up in an S-Shape on the left, while Ring Road Crossgates runs down from the roundabout just below centre and Barwick Road leads off from it to the right. Stanks Lane runs along the top of the developed area; Stanks Drive and the rest of the Swarcliffe estate are yet to be built.
