The dwellings proposed are mixed comprising 1, 1 bedroomed unit, 10, 2 bedroomed units, 60, 3 bedroomed units and 14, 4 bedroomed units. Access to the site would be on Long Thorpe Lane, with parking facilities off Lingwell Gate Lane.

View of an open steel canopy on the former site of Armitage Brickworks. Taylor Woodrow have erected a sign on the fencing. In July 2006 planning permission was approved for Taylor Woodrow to build a new housing development on the site. The building firm, Taylor Woodrow Developments Ltd. purchased the 5.5 acre brownfield site in 2005 for over £4m. The view here is seen from Lingwell Gate Lane.
