Marsh Street, Council Offices (Rothwell)
Black & White image1908. View of Marsh Street showing the Council Offices with the Primitive Methodist Chapel on the right. The Primitive Methodist Chapel was built in 1875 replacing the smaller Ebenezer Chapel off Town Street. Next to the Chapel was the Minister's house, The Manse, which was built in 1898. The chapel was demolished after it became disused after the 1920s. The Ministers House was converted as business premises and, more recently, became a Doctor's surgery.
