Black & White imageUndated. View of warehouses from the south, seen across the River Aire. This area was known as Warehouse Hill, and fronted onto Call Lane. This property was used by the Aire and Calder Navigation. Now demolished, the area gives views along the waterfront.

From left to right they are; Ray Thornton, (Foreman of the beer bottling department), Ernest Young (Driver), Jimmy Kelly? (Driver for T.G. Porter & Co. which was part of Gale Lister & Co. Ltd.) and George Clark (Driver's Mate). The photograph was taken outside the Tonbrige Street shop/garage at number 105.
