Stainbeck Lane runs up to join this at Stainbeck Corner, with the Methodist Church to the left of the junction and the Police Station and Library to the right. Town Street leads off in between. Further back are terraced houses on the Hawthorns then Norfolk Gardens and Allerton Park above to the right. On the left, Allerton House is towards the bottom set in large tree-covered grounds. More terraced housing is above, on Victoria Street and Woodland View, then a recreation ground including tennis courts with Pasture Lane to the right and Northbrook Street on the far left.
