Black & White image12th March 1953. The north west side of the lane looking north shows an extensively wooded area with a large mock tudor house on the left. The large tree in the foreground has been trimmed and its companion completely chopped down. Along the pavement at the bottom right is a low wall with a large leafed hedge behind it. Two lamp posts stand in the distance.

Black & White image2nd February 1954. Looking north along the lane most of the view is taken -up with a large wooded area. In the distance can be seen a parked car and an electric lamp post. On the right of the pavement is a low stone wall with a large leafed hedge behind it. The left hand side of the road has a large brick, detached mock tudor house with a conservatory and leaded windows. A hedge runs from the wall of the house to the street and at the front is an iron telegraph pole.
