10th September 1953.Picture shows the above ground view of the pipe laying on land at Middleton Sewer. The view looks north east on Low Road. Two men can be seen working on the sewer. Piles of bricks are visible as are the structure supports and wooden planks. A large wooden building can be seen to the left by the trees. Water, rubble and foliage are visible.
