Aerial view of Wortley showing railway lines, railway sidings and Copley Hill junction. Wortley gas works are seen at the top left corner. Wellington Road runs parallel to the railway line from the top left, until meeting Tong Road which runs downwards towards the left from the centre. Terraced houses, most of which have since been demolished, dominate the bottom left of the picture, which was taken in the early 1960s after the houses above Green Lane School (centre left) had been demolished. The view looks east towards Leeds.
