In the mid-ground of the photograph is a patch of waste land, on which stand a number of garages or lock up sheds. There is also a lot of scrap material including bicycles, tree trunks and a car. in the foreground runs Meanwood Beck. On the banks of the beck is more scrap which is falling into the water.
