Colour image1988. Aerial view of the Great North Road as it crosses Wetherby Bridge spanning the River Wharfe. The white water of the weir can be clearly seen. The Great North Road becomes the High Street as it cuts through the town centre of Wetherby. The Market Place branches off the High Street soon after leaving the bridge. Tennis courts and the Old Mill are visible on the banks of the Wharfe left of the bridge. The Wilderness Car Park is to the right of the bridge. Micklethwaite stables are at the bottom edge.
