The properties in the foreground are large, red brick through terrace homes, numbering 1 and 3 Well Close Mount. They have arched doorways, small front gardens and bay windows at ground floor level. The next street down is Back Well Close Terrace, then Well Close Terrace. Houses in the background are in Grosvenor Street. Much of the area is now demolished and the site of public open space.
