Black & White image18th January 1943. Batcliffe Wood, south gates, old lodge on Kirkstall Lane opposite St Ann's Lane. House with slate roof. Dormer window with a 'gingerbread' facade, finial. Central bay window. Criss-cross paper defence for air-raids can be seen on left window. Civil defence notice visible left bottom corner. Iron railings removed from walls.
