View of a peacock and two peahens in an enclosure in the Bird Garden at Lotherton Hall. The Bird Garden, which now houses, 200 species of birds, opened in 1980, with further additions in 1983. Construction work was undertaken by 16 year-olds as part of an employment scheme. The Bird Garden occupies the former site of the Kitchen Gardens to Lotherton Hall.
