Colour image2003. View of a new development called Brewery Place in the Brewery Wharf area of the riverside. The scheme involved the conversion of the circular former Tetley's Museum providing two storey mixed use accommodation. The many people who live and work in the area will have access to shopping and leisure facilities. The curved, paved area in front of the buildings benefits from a south facing position and will be set out with tables and seating. Photograph courtesy of The Rushbond Group PLC.

Brewery Place, Brewery Wharf (City Centre)
Colour image2003. Image shows the former Tetley's Brewery Wharf Museum, recently converted to mixed use accommodation (office space and leisure) and now called Brewery Place. The circular building opened as a museum on 19th March 1994 but closed down in the year 2000. The Brewery Wharf area has been the focus of a multi-million pound development scheme to include residential, hotel, office and leisure accommodation. The main building on the left is now "Oracle" at number 3 Brewery Wharf. The interior is designed on two levels, with a simplicity for casual diners on the ground floor and a more sophisticated venue at first floor level. To the right of the former museum the buildings continue in an arc around a paved courtyard with a balcony on the first floor. Photograph courtesy of The Rushbond Group PLC.
