Situated off Bridge Street, between Nile Street and Trafalgar Street, area of dense housing. An open gutter can be seen in the yard illustrating the insanitary conditions which led to this area being classed as 'unhealthy'. Many of the residents in the Leylands area were of Jewish origin, large numbers worked in the tailoring shops.
