Cross Lane nos. 13, 23, 15 (Wortley) (1 comment)
Black & White imageUndated, Partly seen on the left is number 13, an old three storey building. Set back in the centre is 23, again an old three storey house. Both have large windows to give the maximum amount of light, suggesting that the buildings could have been used for weaving. Wortley had a number of hand waevers. On the right, number 15 is of a much later date, a confectioners shop, business of Austwick and Baxter.
