Black & White imagec1930s. Image shows a pair of large semi-detached houses numbered 12 (right) and 14 (left) Gainsborough Drive. The houses were built in 1930 and so were relatively new when this photograph was taken. Gainsborough Drive is located between Gainsborough Avenue and Kingsley Avenue and runs between Kingsley Drive and Holt Lane.

Gainsborough Drive, Sunbeam (Adel)
Black & White imagec1930s. Image shows a small girl standing on the footplate of the Sunbeam motorcar parked in front of number 12 Gainsborough Drive. It is thought to have belonged to her uncle. Another motor can be partially seen. The adjoining semi-detached on the left is number 14 Gainsborough Drive and the houses date from 1930.

These houses were built in 1930 and the Sunbeam belonged to a relative of the occupants of number 12, right. Gainsborough Drive is a street lined on both sides with semi-detached houses with large gardens.
