Black & White image15th September 1948.View of open air bath 17th century. Coursed square gritstone with slate roof. A gabled bath house with a high wall on south side enclosed a plunge bath of three metres square. Bath house entrance has circular window in gable. Built in 1671, there is a stone plaque with the words 'hoc faecit Edwardus Waddington de Gleadhowe annovae domini 1671'. Grade 2 listed building.

Black & White image15th September 1948.View of south wall of open air bath of coursed gritstone and bath house. There is a commemorative plaque near gabled entrance set in stone wall saying 'Hoc faecit Edwardus Waddington de Gleadhowe annovae domini 1671'. This is a grade 2 listed building. The plaque is set above the plunge bath.

Photo shows the gabled bath house with door leading to the stone steps in the pool from the south-east side. A stone plaque built into the wall says it was constructed by Edward Waddington of Gledhow in 1671.
