Image shows Greenside Primary School located in Chapeltown, in a part of Pudsey called Greenside. This stone-built Victorian School opened in 1898, with places for around 500 children and 150 infants. The open-day was held on the 8th September and the ceremony included the singing of the hymn 'Awake My Soul'. Nowadays, Greenside caters for around 295 children between the ages of 5 and 11 years.
