Halton Library, Halton Centre, north of High Street (Halton) (3 comments)
Colour image2000 This single storey brick building is home to Halton Branch Library and is part of the 1987 Halton Centre Development. It has replaced the old Halton Library which opened on September 21st 1960. On the corner of the library there is an old milestone which was originally sited near the main road. This dates back to the 18th Century and is a milestone for the turnpike road from Leeds to Selby.
