The Chapel Allerton Methodist Church can be seen ahead, while on the right of Well Lane, by the junction with Hawthorn Road, is the Chapel Allerton Social Institute; both of these buildings were derelict at the time. On the far right is the edge of the Methodist Youth and Community Centre in the former Sunday School building.
