Black & White image1986 The first reference to farming at Holt Farm is in 1607 when much of this area was divided up by the monks of Kirkstall. The land of Holt Farm included an area called 'The Brecks' meaning newly cleared Forest lands, which is visible in the background. This area is now also known as Holt Park.
