|29th October 1927.
View of Back Virginia Street showing a factory building next to a fenced area on the right. Back Virginia Street was situated between Virginia Street and Nelson Street. It appears an adjoining warehouse building has been demolished, where the fence can be seen. The original photograph has a note which reads 'Late Landey'. An Isaac Landey had a slipper manufacturing business at number 1 Pollard's Yard at the corner with Millgarth Street, very close to here. He possibly had warehouse premises on this street at one time.
