Grove Methodist Church seen from Town Street (Horsforth)
Colour imageOctober 2003 A view of the Grove Methodist Church looking from Town Street. The Church was built on the site of the 18th century Manor House, Grove House, and grounds between New Street and Town Street in 1866-68. It was opened on 16th January, 1868 by the Rev. W. Morley Punshon. M.A. The Manse can be seen, left.

Moving right is a large commercial or industrial building on two levels, roofed with corrugated iron. Two huge doors are visible in the lower portion of the property. Repairs to brickwork have been carried out on the gable end of the building. This had been the premises of a furniture removers.
