Black & White imageUndated, Image shows the entrance to Rose Cottage a small one storey building surrounded by an overgrown garden. Visible on the right is a converted 18th century windmill known as The Round House at the top of Sugarwell Hill. This was converted into a house in the 1880s.

Black & White imageUndated, Image shows the rear of a small one storey stone built cottage, Rose Cottage, situated in Potternewton Mount. It is surrounded by an overgrown garden and the photograph is thought to have been taken from the garden of The Round House. Flats in Potternewton Mount are visible in the background. These have since been demolished (c2000) and replaced by modern housing in 2003 and 2005.
