Shadwell Bridge (Shadwell) (1 comment)
Black & White image26th July 1932 View looking from Wetherby Road towards cross roads of Shadwell Bridge. Shadwell Lane is on the left with Carr Lane. Road in the centre was originally known as the Coal Road, which still exists at the Seacroft end. It was renamed Bay Horse Lane after a nineteenth century coaching inn further along the road. A works van belonging to J & H Smith Ltd can be seen parked on bridge. Place name sign on left.
