View looking from Wetherby Road towards cross roads of Shadwell Bridge. Shadwell Lane is on the left with Carr Lane. Road in the centre was originally known as the Coal Road, which still exists at the Seacroft end. It was renamed Bay Horse Lane after a nineteenth century coaching inn further along the road. A works van belonging to J & H Smith Ltd can be seen parked on bridge. Place name sign on left. [internal reference; 2002513_5752199:C LIC Shad (5)] |

View of Shadwell Bridge. The junction with Coal Road is on the left leading towards Wetherby Road. Main Street is on the right and Bay Horse Lane is behind the photographer. A partly demolished stone wall is seen towards the left and a road sign reading 'Drive slowly through Shadwell' is visible towards the right. [internal reference; 2002513_52685183:C LIC Shad (4)] |
