Black & White image8th March 1965 On the left edge of this view is the Gainsborough Cinema which was converted from a Unitarian Chapel in 1931. This view was taken shortly before the Cinema closed in 1966. Moving right is the back of the Rising Sun public house with a Leeds Ignition van parked behind, then two garages, a small corrugated iron one and a larger brick on with vents in the roof. View looks from Sowerby Street.
