Field on the left of the road was used by the Bachelor Lane New Connexion Cricket Team, it was known as 'High Level'. The Fox and Hounds public house is in the centre, above Corrbridge Farm can be seen. It was formed by a family named Corr but the connection was coincidental.

Black & White imagec1965. Image shows Station Road looking towards Horsforth Bridge and the railway station. Steps lead down to the platforms, centre. As well as the railway line, Mosley Beck runs beneath the bridge. The stone properties left of centre are Station Cottages and to the right of these is access to the station with two footbridges crossing the beck. On the right is the junction with Troy Road. Tinshill Lane climbs the hill straight ahead and Hilton's newsagent's is visible on the corner with Haigh Wood Road at number 225 Tinshill Lane.
