In the centre is Town End House, a Grade II listed building dating back to the late 18th century, which is numbered 9 Lower Town Street, this being the junction with Back Lane on the right. On the left is a garage building, which two women are walking past.

View of the demolition of tram sheds at the end of Stanningley Road, left of image, known as Bramley Town End. The Leeds Corporation Tramways depot operated from around 1908 although the first trams ran to Town End in 1902. A BP petrol station now exists on the site of the old tram sheds.

Image shows tram cars at Bramley Tram Depot in Henconner Lane at Bramley Town End. In the foreground is tram car number 152, one of four Horsfield designed trams built in 1930 in Leeds. (R.L. Horsfield was the General Manager of Leeds Tramways between 1929 and 1931.) Also seen in the background is number 193. This one is one of a series of 50 designed by Horsfield and built in 1931. Works tram number 10 is visible on the left.

A rear view of terraced properties seen from Eightlands Lane. they have no access at this side although there are indications in the brickwork that doors may have existed at one time. Windows on the upper two storeys of the block on the left are bricked up where work shops once operated. Access is from Town End Yard.
