Colour imageApril 1968. View of the substantial, stone-built Wellfield House, once the residence of the Hinchcliffe family. It was occupied for many years by Mr. Henry Scarth, the eldest son of textile manufacturer, Sir Charles Scarth of Laneside Mills.
