[1]	Bedford Field, site of Police Radio Station close to Woodhouse Cliff (Woodhouse)
	1st July 1943. View from the south of the Police and Fire Service radio station close to Woodhouse Cliff. The building is small, square and low, and made of brick. Behind is a 30 foot radio mast, anchored to the ground with wires. The large piece of land on which the radio station is built is marked on an O.S. map, dated August 1949, as 'playing fields'. The playing fields, also known as Bedford Field, are 200-300 metres from Woodhouse Cliff on the south side and border Woodhouse Ridge to the north. This area is now the site of the City of Leeds School whose address is 'Bedford Field, Woodhouse Cliff'. [internal reference; 6929:CLIHP Wood 12]
