Black & White image1963 This aerial view shows the new Ebor estate, between York Road (middle left to bottom right) and Burmantofts Street (centre). Slum clearance programmes had been implemented and many of the streets have been demolished. On the left in the centre a part of Quarry Hill flats can be seen. The upper section of the photo shows building of the Lincoln Green estate has begun, with Mabgate and Sheepscar in the distance.
